Job Description:
Alpha San Diego Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with expertise in plumbing, drain services, and leak detection. The Lead Plumber will oversee plumbing operations, manage a team of plumbers, and ensure high-quality service delivery on residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices.
- Perform and oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water lines, drain systems, and leak detection.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct inspections and quality control on plumbing jobs.
- Interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Must have own tools.
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Experience with PEX piping, re-routing, drain cleaning, leak detection, and water heater installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Must own tools
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
