What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Special Police Officer position at Alpha Security Inc?
IMMEDIATE HIRE NEEDED
We are seeking reliable and experienced DC ARMED SPO to become an integral part of our team. The selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons. Positions are available immediately. The pay rate for this position is $30.00/hour.
Candidates MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. This is an absolute requirement. Applicants who cannot work weekends will not be considered and need not apply.
Responsibilities:
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years of security experience
Must be able to pass Family Background check through CFSA
Must be CPR, AED and First Aid Certified
Must have a current and valid Armed DC SPO license.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
*There are NO 40 hour slots*
Hours range from 24-32 hours/week
This is also a Non-Union Position
