DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Alpha Services Company is looking for compassionate, dedicated people to join our team of Direct Support Professionals in Aitkin, MN. You’ll be working with individuals with cognitive disabilities to help them live independently. You'll be able to help promote independence, healthy lifestyles, and overall well-being.

Full-time & part-time positions available.

Schedule:

• Day, Evening, or Overnight.

Job Description: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the monitoring and supervision needed to carry out the Activities of Daily Living for the residents they serve. The areas of their responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Documentation, Behavioral Intervention, Teaching of Daily Living Skills, Supervision, Social Interactions, Communication, Home Maintenance, Interpersonal Relationship Skills, and Transportation to appointments and outings.

No experience necessary – we will provide paid training.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Aged 18 and over.
• Enjoy helping others in a positive manner.
• Have empathy and active listening.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal manner.
• Have great teamwork skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• The successful candidate must be cleared by a MN DHS Background Study.
• Bi-weekly bonus available for meeting attendance and performance requirements.
