Job Description: Solution Architect QA CoE (Center of Excellence)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Solution Architect to lead and design the QA Testing and Automation framework for our QA Center of Excellence. This role is pivotal in delivering cutting-edge QA strategies, integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities, ensuring optimal test coverage, and driving efficiency in testing services across various domains including Sales, Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to enhance quality assurance for a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement QA strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on AI/ML-driven enhancements, automation, and performance optimization.
- Establish and lead the QA CoE, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Solution Design and Architecture:
- Architect comprehensive test automation frameworks leveraging tools like Selenium, Tosca, and AI-powered solutions.
- Design scalable, reusable, and self-healing automation scripts, incorporating AI-driven test generation and defect prediction.
- Ensure seamless integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
- Testing Excellence:
- Oversee the delivery of functional, regression, performance, compatibility, accessibility, and security testing services across diverse applications.
- Lead performance testing initiatives using LoadRunner, JMeter, and custom serverless solutions.
- Enhance test data management processes, implementing synthetic data generation and targeted refresh mechanisms.
- AI/ML Innovation:
- Drive the adoption of AI/ML to optimize test execution, predict failure points, and provide actionable analytics.
- Implement predictive analytics to prioritize testing efforts based on defect trends and user behavior patterns.
- Introduce and manage AI-powered self-healing test automation frameworks.
- Collaboration and Governance:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to align QA efforts with business objectives.
- Establish governance frameworks for defect management, test metrics, and reporting dashboards.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, creating robust documentation and training programs.
- Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
- Define and monitor KPIs such as cost per story point, automation coverage, defect leakage rate, and cycle time reduction.
- Provide regular executive-level insights through analytics-driven dashboards and reports.
- Lead initiatives for increasing automation coverage and reducing manual intervention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in QA and test automation, with at least 5 years in a solution architect or leadership role.
- Expertise in QA tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Tosca, LoadRunner, JMeter, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
- Proven experience with AI/ML applications in QA, including tools like Healenium, GitHub Copilot, and ReportPortal.io.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing, test data management, and cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with large-scale enterprise environments and global testing initiatives.
- Familiarity with testing AI/ML applications, LLM model validation, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Knowledge of SAP systems, Dynamics 365, and eCommerce platforms (Magento, Liferay).
- Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage offshore/onsite collaboration.
- Certification in QA methodologies, Agile/SAFe, or relevant domains.
