Equity Researcher

The Equity Researcher will work closely with our public market team to enhance investment expertise in the technology sector and accelerate the generation of actionable investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the construction and management of a long/short equity portfolio, focusing on generating high idiosyncratic returns.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on a broad universe of investments, including IPOs.
• Maintain and update financial models and research notes in alignment with investment and compliance requirements.
• Attend industry conferences and events to engage with company management, sell-side analysts, salespeople, and research peers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required; a Master’s degree or MBA from a top-tier university is preferred.
• Experience: 5-8 years in hedge funds, equity research, investment banking, or relevant industry roles covering the Tech sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; credentials such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, intellectually curious, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
