Summary
We are looking for a Public Relations Specialist to join our team in Sunland, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented PR Specialists who is passionate about building and maintaining strong media relationships, crafting compelling narratives and enhancing our public image. As a PR Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing PR campaigns, managing media outreach, and ensuring that our messaging reaches the right audience through strategic communication efforts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and influencers across a variety of platforms.
- Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media coverage that aligns with Alpha objectives.
- Write and edit press materials such as press releases, media alerts, feature
- stories, and blog posts that effectively convey the client’s brand message and enhance their public image.
- Collaborate with the social media team to create and execute social media strategies that align with PR efforts. Assist in crafting posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to online inquiries when needed.
- Creating lucrative professional relationships, specifically in commercial/industrial fields
- Assist in organizing and executing media events, press conferences, and other promotional activities, ensuring flawless execution and media coverage.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of PR campaigns for client accounts, from initial brainstorming sessions through execution and reporting.
- Obtaining industry awards and recognition from local cities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relation within construction industry
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in media outreach and relationship building with journalists, bloggers, and influencers and understanding of social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal..
