We are Alpha Supported Living Services, a non-profit organization, we provide residential and community-based services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our primary objective at Alpha is to enhance the quality of life for each of our clients by aiding them in learning, personal development, and fostering increased independence. Since 1974, we've been dedicated to offering supported living, group home, community inclusion, and representative payee services, expanding our reach across King, Snohomish, and Spokane counties in Washington State. Job Summary
The Program Supervisor oversees and manages the provision of support for assigned participants living at particular sites, including supervision of staff. This position interacts with program participants and must be familiar with the Guiding Values issued by the Developmental Disabilities Administration. The Program Supervisor seeks to act in accordance with those values and upholds the agency mission "to serve individuals with developmental disabilities by providing an array of residential and other support services that will result in maximizing the person's quality of life."
Day-to-Day
- Supervise the provision of participant's health, behavioral, safety, social and medical support services
Oversee the development and implementation of participant IISPs reflecting the participant's preference and concurrence
Monitor IISP goal progress and review documentation regularly; Provide IISP reviews or updates as assigned or needed
Review and assist in the implementation of Positive Behavior Support as needed or assigned; Make recommendations to the Health Care Supervisor and / or Clinical Manager for revisionsProvide direction and oversight to participant outings and activitiesFacilitate participants accessing their community regularly for activities of their choice
Provide on-call and after-hour supervision, direction and support as needed or assignedCoordinate, facilitate and assist with participant's medical and behavioral programsMaintain regular and consistent communication with participants medical / behavioral health team
Coordinate and assist with the provision of health care, nurse delegation and medication management; Schedule, facilitate or participate in training as needed or assignedConsistently and accurately maintain client records in compliance with local, state, federal, agency and contractual regulations or requirementsReview and audit records periodically; Records include but are not limited to : consents, property inventories, leases, ISP's, IISP's, guardianship papers, nurse delegation paperwork and any other client record information
Review written and electronic documentation regularly; Address documentation errors promptly;Provide assistance and training on the use of objective, professional language and terminology as necessaryAssist with the supervision and management of both client's individual and house financial accounts; Coordinate with appropriate personnel to protect participants' financial resourcesSupervise and oversee the staffing support in the homes, working to promote staff cohesion and build staff moraleDevelop and post a staffing schedule that meets participant staffing needs
Monitor use of staffing hours against established guidelines; Notify supervisor of discrepanciesPromptly notify Human Resources of shift vacancy, leaves of absence or other adverse staffing situationsProvide on-site training to employees in accordance with state, agency and contract requirementsProvide personnel supervision to assigned staffAnnual reviews

Depending on individual client needs, this position may work with adaptive medical equipment (walker, wheel chair, Hoyer lift, wheel chair lift, gait belt, etc.) and may be required to provide hands-on or stand-by assistance. There may be exposure to blood borne pathogens, therefore employees are required to use personal protective equipment.This position will operate an automobile to perform the essential functions of this position, therefore the use of vision and hearing are required for safety.Travel between work sites will be required.This position also requires the physical ability to support clients that have intellectual and developmental disabilities and may be assaultive or aggressive, medically fragile and / or unable to ambulate. Work sites may have flights of stairs and require the ability to traverse. Adaptive equipment may be used as long as physical safety is ensured at all times.Starting Salary : 32.60 / hr
Salary Scale : 32.60 - $38.20 / hr
