Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and security-focused IT Project Manager to oversee the setup, management, and operational support of all IT infrastructure within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and associated office environment. This individual will lead and manage the execution of IT requirements, including identifying dependencies, determining resources needed, and coordinating the implementation of security protocols specific to classified networks within the SCIF. The role requires extensive project management skills, a solid understanding of Army SCIF requirements, and experience managing IT needs in highly secure environments. Familiarity with the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) or other cyber test ranges is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
_ *__SCIF Setup and Management:*_
- Oversee the complete setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure within the SCIF, ensuring all systems and networks meet security requirements for classified environments.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, procure, and implement necessary IT resources and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Army SCIF standards and all applicable regulations regarding secure environments.
_ *__Project Management:*_
- Serve as the primary project manager for SCIF IT requirements, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and within budget.
- Identify and document project dependencies, resources needed, and timelines, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, tracking progress, milestones, and any risks or issues.
_ *__Security Compliance and Classified Network Support:*_
- Implement and oversee all security measures for classified IT networks within the SCIF, in accordance with relevant Army and federal guidelines.
- Ensure that all systems comply with DoD standards for secure networks, facilitating inspections and audits as required.
_ *__PCTE and Cyber Test Range Experience:*_
- (Preferred) Utilize knowledge of the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) or similar cyber test ranges to support relevant training and simulation exercises if applicable to the SCIF’s mission.
- Provide insights on the integration of training environments and systems within the SCIF’s IT infrastructure.
_ *__Small Office IT Support:*_
- Manage IT requirements and provide technical support for a small office connected to the SCIF, ensuring smooth and secure operations for both environments.
- Oversee the inventory, lifecycle management, and security of IT assets for both the SCIF and office setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT in a secure, classified environment, with Army SCIF experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with DoD and Army security compliance requirements for classified networks and secure facilities.
- Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent experience in project coordination and resource management.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance (must be active and in good standing).
- Familiarity with Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) or other cyber test ranges is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and agencies.
