The Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all logistics and activities are organized and managed effectively. This role will involve working closely with the events team, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations and a memorable experience for all attendees.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events from inception to completion.
Work with the events team to manage event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure all event requirements are met.
Help prepare event materials, including signage, promotional items, and attendee packages.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all details are handled smoothly.
Maintain communication with clients to ensure their needs are met before, during, and after the event.
Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs efficiently.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is a plus.
