Group Leader - Before and After School Program at CENTREVILLE AND Kent Island Elementary School

Hiring Bonus:
- $500 Total Bonus ($250 after 90 days, $250 at the end of the school year)
Location:
Centreville Elementary School 213 Homewood Ave Centreville MD
Kent Island Elementary School, 110 Elementary Way, Stevensville, MD
Hours:
- AM Shift: 6:15 AM - 9:00 AM
- PM Shift: 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM
Pay & Benefits:
- $17.00 per hour
- Part-time benefits, including health coverage and paid time off

State Licensing Qualifications:
To qualify, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 credits from an accredited college or university
Additionally, you must have one of the following:
- 6 semester hours, 90 clock hours, or equivalent approved pre-service training, including 45 hours in school-age curriculum and 45 hours in child growth and development
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential from the Council for Professional Recognition
- Approval as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education (including Nursery - Grade 3), with at least 6 semester hours in early childhood education
- MSDE or state certification for early childhood education (including Nursery - Grade 3)
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with children in an approved setting (such as a licensed childcare center, school, or similar environment)
- OR 1 year as a registered family child care provider
