SITE DIRECTOR (PART-TIME): Before and Afterschool Program Site Director, Portsmouth VA. 1 year childcare group setting experience and 1 year supervisor experience with education credits.

Location:Simonsdale Elementary Schools, Portsmouth VA
Schedule: Before and After School Care AM Hours 6am-8am PM Hours 3-6pm.

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
- Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.
Here's what you'll need:
- Must have 1-2 years childcare director/manager experience/and or BA, or Associates or certification credits/childcare. Degree in a child related field, such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university or one year of programmatic experience.
- Must be at least 21years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
- Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
