BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SITE DIRECTOR - PART TIME - Mt Hope Elementary School ALPHABEST EDUCATION, INC.
This position needs a
- 90 Hour Certification school age or early childhood- At least one of the 45 hours growth and development- 45 hours school age curriculum.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Before & Aftercare) NO Weekends!! Hours: Morning Care - 6:30 am - 9:30 am Afternoon Care - 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
- Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.
Here's what you'll need:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED,
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 90 Hour Certification school age or early childhood
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations (see below)
Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA in a related field) or Associate's Degree (AS/AA in a related field)
- A 1-year state or nationally recognized credential (related to school-age care)
- Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college/university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
- 2 or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center (or comparable group care program)
