Summer Camp Director (Part-time) - Summer Camp - Bethesda, MD Area
AlphaBEST Education, a leading provider of after-school and summer programs, will be offering summer camps in the Bethesda, MD area.

Locations:
Mater Dei School - 9600 Seven Locks Road, Bethesda, MD 20817
The Woods Academy - 6801 Greentree Road, Bethesda MD 20817
Schedule:
Camp Dates: Mater Dei 6-9 through 8-15 (10 weeks)
The Woods Academy - 6-16-25 through 8-8-25 (8 weeks)
Training week of 5-28-25
Camp Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Work hours 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm)
- In this exciting role, you'll be trained and have the opportunity to do the following:
- Provide supervision to a group of 30 children in all spaces and throughout transitions (Ages 3-7)
- Provide support to 4-5 team members with behavior management and positive incentive programs
- Communicate any/all concerns with the Program Manager
- Lead programming and activities
- Ensure that your team implements the curriculum provided and adheres to the daily schedule, arriving at activities on time, and cleaning up in a timely manner
What you will need:
- Experience leading a group of children in a structured or classroom setting
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, & Medication Administration (if you do not have this, we will provide training for you)
- Ability to communicate with both children and adults
- Reliability & Flexibility
- Experience supervising a staff of at least 10 team members
- High School or GED Diploma
