Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two Year Old Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development. This role involves educating young minds, implementing curriculum standards, and promoting literacy education while ensuring the overall well-being of each student. Experience in daycare or private school settings, as well as familiarity with Reggio Emilia methods, is highly desirable.
Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum.
- Enjoy playing, interacting with young children while guiding them in a positive manner.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development. We use Brightwheel as our communication app with families.
- Organize classroom activities daily and having interest points available to keep them active.
- Provide individualized support to young ones with one on one play in a small class environment.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of literacy education techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Familiarity with Reggio Emilia or experience in private school settings is a plus.
- A genuine passion for educating young learners and fostering their love for learning.
