Position Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of technical expertise in Direct to Garment operations on the production floor. The DTG Group Lead Operator will oversee equipment maintenance, ensure efficient operations, and assist with training operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain standardized operational processes and procedures related to high-quality DTG garment embellishment.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of M&R Polaris Machinery, production capabilities/requirements, art production, and color management.
- Serve as liaison with M&R Tech Support to ensure necessary support for success.
- Collaborate with the in-house maintenance team to achieve the highest production performance quality standards.
- Perform mechanical operation and maintenance of DTG equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.
- Setup and operate DTG equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with training department operators and provide guidance on DTG best practices.
- Maintain color profiles and machine print settings, manage art ripping software, and ensure data integrity.
