Position Overview:
The QAPI Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, enhancing patient outcomes, and driving continuous improvement within our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor the agency's QAPI program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform detailed chart reviews to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership, clinical teams, and staff to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee internal audits and develop action plans to address identified deficiencies.
- Conduct staff training and education on quality improvement processes and policies.
- Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a liaison during external audits or surveys.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s degree preferred (e.g., Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
- Bachelor’s degree will be considered with appropriate experience.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in home health care.
- Background in quality improvement, nursing education, or leadership preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Medicare, state-specific requirements).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
