Alphacare Wellness is seeking an experienced full time Medical Assistant.

We are seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to add to our growing team at Alpha Care! The MA will exemplify the values of our clinic and will support our doctors and clients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Ability to complete all activities precisely, in a timely manner and perform high quality work.

Certified Medical Assistant Full time

The following is a list of your primary duties. This is not an all-inclusive list.

Responsibilities include:

• Clinical duties for both the medical clinic and wellness center

• Provide support with communicating and handling patients.

• Rooming patients, taking vitals

• Schedule patients

• Confirming patients for the Provider(s)

• Check in and checkout duties.

• Assist providers with patients and procedures.

• Follow up with patient inquiries and results.

• Medication management and administration

• Injections.

• Handle all new prospective patients promptly and effectively.

• Handle all phone contacts. Keep record log of all phone contacts.

• Assist with scheduling, deadlines, calendars, coordinating patients.

• Assist with all Alpha Care Wellness events.

• Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

• Ensure quality and accurate care is given to patients.

• Professional demeanor and appearance are required.

• Additional duties as assigned.

• Interest in health, wellness, and medicine (A MUST)

• Have a genuine interest in helping other people.

• Excited to learn new things and be on the cutting edge.

• Present yourself in a sharp, professional & respectable manner.

Must have current Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
