Computer Vision Camera Systems Internship (Tempe, AZ, Hybrid)
We’re seeking a hands-on intern to help push the boundaries of real-time perception in our Tempe, AZ lab. You’ll work with advanced camera systems (including frame-based and event-based), tackle camera calibration, and develop edge compute and machine learning algorithms for real-time operation. Expect plenty of lab time, from integrating hardware to refining software user interfaces for next-generation robotics applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Calibrate and optimize various camera systems for real-time applications
- Develop and integrate algorithms on embedded/edge compute platforms
- Collaborate on machine learning pipelines and user interface design
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment at the intersection of optics, robotics, and software
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Robotics
- Familiarity with camera technologies, sensors, and real-time systems
- Programming experience in C , Python, or similar languages
- Interest in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and robotics tools (e.g., ROS)
