Position: Provider Enrollment Specialist
Location: Austin, TX 78727 (100% Onsite)
Duration: 7 months (with possibility of extension)
Pay-Rate: $21.48/Hr. on W2
Anyone over 60 miles from Austin is guaranteed 100% remote from the first day of training. Anyone within 60 miles of Austin must work 100% on site for training and a minimum of 3 months after training. Based on their performance, they may be considered for a work-from-home opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Note: This is not an entry level role for basic data entry. This is an advanced position.
Within 60 miles of Austin, must work 100 percent onsite for training and minimum 3 months afterwards. Working from home after that is based on business need and performance, attendance, adherence, professionalism. Over 60 miles from Austin, resources may train and work from home.
The Provider Enrollment Specialist:
1. Interact professionally with providers and ancillary staff to provide appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and concerns regarding provider enrollment and DLE maintenance for Medicaid programs. (including dental, vision, ambulance, physicians, nurses, and all other provider types).
2. Process to completion 100 percent of assigned applications and maintenance requests utilizing documented work instructions, daily and meeting minimum daily quotas.
4. Identify deficiencies to notify providers of incomplete or inaccurate applications. Revise existing deficiencies and sending corrections based on QA audits as required.
5. Respond to inquiries regarding the status of applications received.
6. Research and contact providers via phone to resolve enrollment application deficiencies.
8. Adhere to the Quality Assurance program to improve the daily processing of applications and file maintenance transactions with a minimum quality score of 98 percent.
9. Makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness of current processes
10. Maintain strict confidentiality of information and job files as dictated by current HIPAA requirements.
12. Flexibility to work overtime as dictated by daily production inventory requirements.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of experience enrolling and credentialing healthcare providers
