We are growing and currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our client-first staff as a Finishing /Bindery Specialist. This candidate should be interested in a stable, long-term position with opportunities for advancement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate finishing equipment in a safe, efficient, and appropriate manner including cutters, right-angle folders, collators, perforators, booklet makers and drills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Produce quality work and review prior to packaging to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain equipment to ensure optimum operation
- Perform routine machine checks and report any problems or necessary repairs to management
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a printing environment preferred
- Digital Press and/or Large Format experience preferred
- Good math skills
- Above-average mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must successfully pass pre-employment background check & drug screening
- Minimum High School diploma required
