As an CSR/Account Manager/Senior Print Specialist

As a CSR / Senior Print Specialist at AlphaGraphics, you will be responsible for managing the entire customer journey for marketing projects—from initial quote to final delivery. This role is critical in ensuring that each project runs smoothly and meets both customer expectations and Alphagraphics quality benchmarks.
- Conducting thorough requirement analysis to ensure accurate understanding of project needs.
- Creating detailed estimates and following up with customers in a timely manner.
- Converting estimates into invoices and ensuring a smooth handoff to design and production teams.
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure the job is completed on time, maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the process.
- Upholding AlphaGraphics’ quality control standards at every stage to deliver outstanding results to our clients
CSR / Account Manager Responsibilities :
- Assists customers with completing large and small print jobs, including estimating, invoicing and payment processing.
- Helps customers via email, phone calls and face to face or via online interactions
- Ability to do daily opening and closing procedures (daily closeouts, cash drawer balancing, month end, year end closeouts).
- Processes customer transactions and orders
- Handles billing issues, order inquiries and operates a cash drawer
- Captures customer’s specifics using “Job Analysis” questions
- Reviews customer’s proofs, manages the proofing process, and calls customers when jobs are ready for pick up
- Creates job estimates that are prepared in a timely manner, professionally presented and carefully reviewed for job pricing and accuracy
- Displays necessary mastery of MIS/CRM tools to create and estimate customer projects effectively.
- Maintains current pricing strategies and customer billing procedures
- Follows up and manages Inbound Leads
- Keep customers informed regarding their job’s progress through the production process
- Effectively manages all communication methods currently available to them to respond timely to customer inquiries
- This responsibility should also focus on ensuring the center’s sales, drawing in new customers and contacts, maintaining center accounts, expanding our penetration into existing accounts, and creating a positive experience for our clients.
Account Manager Qualifications
- Print Industry experience and knowns what it taken to print a job - BW, Color and Press , Cut sheet or wide format, we have it.
- Has a thorough knowledge of Print products and services, production processes, capabilities, and pricing
- Experience working in print industry in a consultative role or account management role.
- Account Management experience is preferred but not required .
- Knowledge of printing and prepress requirements.
- Possesses a solid knowledge of MIS systems and order entry processes
- Handles all communications with customers in a professional and respectful manner
- Strong analytical skills (break projects into steps or sets)
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Professional appearance and decorum
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Onsite position M-F. Regular 40 hours. in Walnut Creek, CA.
