Role Overview : This role is responsible for creating a merchandising plan and buying seasonal lines in accordance with Alphalete’s goals and objectives. This position will play a key role in managing the procurement of goods and sales strategy for our products in our e-commerce store. This role involves close communications with suppliers overseas, analyzing market trends, and ensuring our store has the appropriate products available to meet customer demand.

Main Responsibilities :

• Work closely with design, logistics, and finance teams to create seasonal merchandising strategies that consider company initiatives, growth drivers, and sales trends.
• Create seasonal buying strategies that achieve sales goals, maximize profit, and inventory productivity goals for both women’s and men’s categories.
• Responsible for purchasing all collections in accordance with company launch calendar. This will include but not limit :

Create detailed purchase orders that include product skus, quantities, sizes, colors, prices, delivery dates, and payment terms per distribution center for each season.

Collaborate with logistics team to establish product pricing based on cost, desired profit margins, competitor pricing, and market conditions.

Proactively gather, analyze, and derive insights in the industry to identify additional product assortments or business growth opportunities.
