Production Planner Coordinator

Support global production planning and scheduling with the distribution warehouse to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of spinal medical sets while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintaining through Planning daily, weekly, and monthly production plan through analysis of stock levels, demand, and incoming deliveries. Effective communication and reporting on progress and escalating challenges to the global set build and decommission targets. Support cross-functional projects as needed to achieve production targets and inventory efficiencies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Support planning production schedules to meet company global demand and production goals through daily, weekly and monthly reporting and delegation
• Coordinate with supply chain, distribution warehouse, marketing and quality control teams to ensure materials and resources are available
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, challenges, and/or priorities changes
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for production schedules and inventory levels
• Support the tracking and execution of any cross-functional projects
• Communicate as production orders are completed and/or escalate any challenges to target timelines
• Reporting to support production planning and improvement efforts as needed
• Support training for any new personnel in production tasks
• Assists with or performs other related tasks as assigned

• Basic proficiency with MS Office software, experience in Excel preferred
• Document management software and ability to navigating the Internet
• Strong attention to detail
• Possesses interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  
  

Education And Experience

• 2 years in production planning, preferably in the medical device industry
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing , or a related field
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of FDA regulators and industry standards for medical devices is a plus

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate's qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $21 to $24 per hour.
