A highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist is required to join our team at ALPI USA INC. As a key member of the customs brokerage division, you will play a vital role in ensuring shipments are cleared through U.S. Customs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit customs entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Classify shipments using HTS (experience with cosmetics is a plus).
- Work with regulatory agencies such as FDA, USDA, and F&W to ensure compliance.
- Review and reconcile duty statements.
- Familiarity with CargoWise is desired but not required.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve entry-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
A strong classification skills and knowledge of customs regulations are essential for this role. A Broker's License is not required but will be additionally compensated. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also necessary.
