Mission
The Parts Team Member is responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of stock and special order parts needed by our technicians and customers.
Pay: $30,000-$55,000/year
Outcomes
- Successful candidates will:
- Order, receive and stock inventory; maintain computer records; resolve ordering discrepancies
- Sell needed parts and accessories to customers, as walk-ins or by appointment; recommend new items as appropriate
- Research and order parts as requested by Service Technicians, for the purpose of repairing vehicles and units
- Search catalogs and electronic resources for part numbers and prices; compare products and negotiate as appropriate
- Pack and ship parts as requested
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock rooms and retail store areas
- Gain knowledge of inventory to efficiently assist customers and answer questions
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working in a parts department helpful
- Previous experience with automated inventory system helpful
- Ability to follow safety instructions and promote a safe working environment
- Professional demeanor and customer friendly
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to work in a collaborative team, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job functions
