We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CPA Or Enrolled Agent to become an integral part of our growing team! Our team of Financial Planners and CPAs have been working together for 20 years in a bright, beautiful environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, tax preparation, and auditing, with the ability to provide high-quality financial services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing various financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to drive business success. MUST have 10 years of experience. This is an amazing opportunity for a well-spoken, well-groomed individual with an attitude of service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Must have a valid and active CPA license and current and valid PTIN number or Enrolled Agent
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, ensuring timely filing and minimizing liabilities.
- Manage audits and reviews of financial records, including internal controls, compliance, and risk assessments.
- Advise clients on accounting and tax matters, providing strategic guidance to improve financial performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and industry regulations.
- Preparation of all types of returns (Federal & State) : 1040, 1040NR, 1041, 1120 / 1120S, 1065, 1042, and 990
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure the accurate and efficient completion of projects.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Addressing and resolving IRS / State notices (communicating with the IRS / State, client as well as written responses)
Preferred Skills :
Candidate MUST be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
Pay Range $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
Health insurance paid at 70%, Optional Dental and Vision, 401K with Company Match, 2 weeks PTO and paid holiday.
