Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. This role requires proficiency in using various power tools and welding equipment to restore vehicles to their original condition. The technician will work in a comfortable, friendly environment all while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacements and light mechanical.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or automotive repair shop.
- Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, is preferred.
- Familiarity with various power tools used in auto body repair work.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is required; ICAR certifications are a plus but not required.
