A Day in the Life of a Substitute Teacher :
Flexibility in Your Schedule : Choose from full or half-day shifts (7 AM – 12 PM, 12 PM – 5 PM).
Engage and Inspire Students : Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to create a smooth and engaging learning experience.
Classroom Management : Foster a positive environment by encouraging student participation and maintaining focus.
Adapt and Support : Tailor your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students, providing individual support where needed.
Supervision & Safety : Oversee students both in the classroom and in common areas like the halls, playground, and cafeteria.
Long-term Opportunities : For long-term roles, work closely with department heads to create lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum.
What We’re Looking For :
Education : An Associate Degree or 60 College hours required (Bachelor’s degree or teaching certification is preferred, but not mandatory).
Experience : Prior substitute teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills : Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to connect with students, parents, and administrators.
Flexibility : Adapt your teaching style to fit the needs of each class and keep students engaged.
