Job Description
Teachers Now is looking for a Full Time Recruiter. The Recruiter is responsible for finding and sourcing top-quality candidates, researching job seekers, inviting applications, conducting initial phone interviews, and handling the hiring documentation process.
Compensation: Starting at $18/hr (Based on Education and experience)
Recruiter Qualifications:
- Must be open Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Availability for in-person work from Monday to Friday
- Experience in high-volume recruiting preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of sourcing, screening, scheduling, and conducting interviews
- A clear background check and fingerprint results are required
Duties and Responsibilities of a Recruiter:
- Operate independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain focus and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate expertise in talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates to meet organizational needs
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, advertisements, job fairs, and other resources
- Assist in creating job postings and advertisements
- Participate in job fairs as necessary
- Understand and comply with legal and regulatory requirements related to recruiting, including EEO regulations and data privacy laws
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Efficiently screen candidates to evaluate their qualifications and fit for available positions
- Conduct follow-up communications with candidates to provide timely updates and maintain positive engagement throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Collaborate closely with the HR manager and staff during the interview and onboarding processes
- Identify and implement effective recruiting strategies based on role specifications, industry standards, and organizational needs
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates
- Coordinate candidate arrangements to ensure timely interviews
- Schedule interviews and oversee the preparation of necessary materials

Work Environment and Physical Abilities:
- Reliable commute to and from the main office is required
- Light physical work with occasional lifting
- Occasional evening and weekend activities may be necessary
- Moderate travel may be required
