What you will be doing:
- Coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under direction of the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager, oversee the daily activity of shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties in a manner consistent with company policy, service and cost objectives. Weekend shifts may be required. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Management of Inbound and Outbound activities
- Assigning workload and equipment to staff
- Employee daily schedule (start, breaks & departure)
- Reconciling shipments in and out of the facility
- Processing all warehouse documents
- Employee training and ongoing evaluation of employee competencies
- Coaching and mentoring employees in a professional manner
- Ability to work weekends and rotating shifts (days, nights)
- Other duties/projects as assigned by management
Helpful skills to have:
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System and good technical skills
- Supervisory or management responsibilities in a warehouse environment; 1-3 years
- Good Leadership skills; a track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task at a high level and keep organized
- Knowledge of general warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in all areas of work
- Ability to make decisions independently
- High level of reliability and dependability

You will be expected to:
- Reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn in a safe manner.
- Exhibit manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination to move freight.
- Work in a freezer and cooler environments.
- Acceptable physical agility test result.
- Acceptable drug test result.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times may be necessary.
- Constant temperature changes involving outside weather, refrigerated and freezer warehouse
