Experience as PCA in long term care or assisted living preferred.
Helps residents maintain a neat, orderly and comfortable room by making beds, assisting with clothing, filling water pitcher, etc. Assists residents in moving through facility by pushing wheelchair.
Responds to call light to determine residents' needs.
May be designated to provide supervision to residents who smoke as deemed necessary by management.
Shift work required. Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands ad arms, feel, talk and hear. Occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles or toxic or caustic chemicals.
