The Landscape Foreman will supervise and coordinate the work of a crew on a specific project. The Foreman will work alongside their crew to ensure that everyone is working skillfully and efficiently so that each assigned job progresses per schedule. Foremen must be proficient in all kinds of landscape and hardscape projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Proactively organize job sites with material, equipment and crew members; manage crews and projects with respect and authority.
· Job layout and installation utilizing approved design plans from Landscape Designers.
· Move soil, equipment, materials, dig holes for plants, trees, dig/backfill trenches, install landscape material, weed, spread mulch, clean up, lay sod, water, build retaining walls.
· Utilize knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems to install and maintain trees, shrubs, vines, groundcover, flowers and hardscapes.
· Supervise job site and crew.
· Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
· Ensure a safe working environment for employees, customers and the general public.
· Ensure that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication throughout each project.
· Complete final inspection and sign-off of each property before leaving the site each day.
· Responsible for ensuring end of day clean up, maintenance, and inspection of all assigned vehicles and equipment is complete.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Additional certification or training in landscaping or construction preferred.
· At least 3 years’ related experience required.
· Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires good manual dexterity.
- Excellent stamina is required.
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
