We are currently seeking a full-time pharmacy technician to support our pharmacist in preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications to patients in long-term care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications as per physician orders
- Manage medication inventory and supplies
- Communicate with caregivers, family members, and medical providers over the phone
- Process insurance claims
- Provide onsite pharmacy consulting services
- Administer vaccinations (training provided)
- Utilize computer software for prescription processing and cycle fills
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 1 years of pharmacy experience (Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and holiday pay.

Job Type: Full-time, with expected hours of 32-40 per week
Experience:
- 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required
License/Certification:
- PTCB Certification
- Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification
Work Location: In-person at Alpine Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating weekends
Physical Setting: Office
