Alpine Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for a State Tested Nursing Assistance (STNA) to add to our team! We are looking to hire STNAs for day and night shifts.
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate STNA to join our team. The ideal candidate provides compassionate direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, and provides personal care and comfort - this includes bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services.
Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate with nurses
Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
Maintain excellent hygiene and safety (infection control, contact/droplet precautions, etc.) and willingness to follow proper procedures
Provide mobility and transfer assistance
Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition or problems to report
Qualifications
State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
Proficient in basic life support and patient care
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, and nursing home settings
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient service best practices
Ability to work with diverse populations
