Positions Summary:
The Equipment Reliability Manager will oversee the management of all ProFrac Manufacturing equipment and assets to minimize downtime, maximize efficiency, and extend the operational lifespan of machinery. The Equipment Reliability Manager will be responsible for managing equipment refurbishments, advising on new equipment with the engineering team, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring adherence to standardized testing protocols. The role directly oversees testing and operations at both the Aledo and Cisco locations and requires close collaboration with various departments and leadership to ensure the optimal functionality of equipment across our operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for equipment, ensuring effective performance and extending asset life.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure machinery availability and reliability while aligning with overall operational needs.
- Manage equipment maintenance budget and assess program effectiveness through KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all equipment meets quality control standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and tests to confirm operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
- Maintain detailed equipment and maintenance records, and ensure standardized testing protocols are followed.
- Drive equipment utilization strategies across all operations to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field of study, or equivalent experience required.
- 10 years’ experience managing maintenance programs for heavy machinery equipment, equipment fleets, or related field required.
- Experience managing preventative and predictive maintenance programs for heavy machinery equipment/assets.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Lift and carry up to 20 pounds continuously.
- Working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 75%.
- Repetitive hand and foot movements; frequent bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and reaching (including above shoulder).
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, speaking, and hearing; ability to work under stress.
- Fine motor skills for typing, 10-key, and extended writing.
- Communication with personnel, vendors, and phone use.
- Able to see computer screen and climb stairs as needed.
- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
