The Industrial Plant Maintenance Expert will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting plant equipment, and communicating with shift leads and Production Superintendent regarding any process malfunctions or irregularities.
Responsibilities
- Operate controls used in the production process or assist machine operators.
- Perform general labor tasks such as plant clean-up, cleaning spilled sand from under tail pulleys, and training belts for proper tracking.
- Assist maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs, including greasing, changing rollers, bearings, and belt splices.
- Communicate with shift leads and Production Superintendent regarding any process malfunctions or irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance program and testing processes as required by the QA program and procedures.
- Inspect plant equipment for high wear and potential problems, and report findings to the Production Superintendent.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) - two (2) years general experience performing manual labor tasks such as lifting and moving materials, loading, and unloading trucks, digging, and filling holes, light mechanical, and light equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, using both written and spoken forms of communication.
- Ability to read, speak, and write English.
- Regularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. or more.
