Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings such as hotels, hospitals, or residential homes. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a clean and comfortable environment for our clients.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Stock and replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow established protocols for infection control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Familiarity with hospitality or housekeeping management software is a plus
- Experience in floor care or industrial cleaning is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
