Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and maintained.
- Implement effective floor care techniques to maintain various surfaces throughout the facility.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of staff performance, cleaning schedules, and supply usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning practices, and custodial responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
