Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service, ensuring that all items are laundered, dried, and pressed to the highest standards. Experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry services is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various items, including linens, uniforms, and guest clothing.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures and standards.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding laundry services.
Skills
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Good organizational skills for sorting and managing laundry loads effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and guests.
