Position: AI Integration Engineer
Location: hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA (Tues-Thurs)
Compensation: Competitive base salary bonus FTE benefits
Interview: 2 rounds
MUST:
- 5 years minimum of full stack dev (mostly on the backend)
- Web developer who is interested in AI and has demonstrated examples of how they’ve used AI in the last 2 years
- Has been a web developer
- Strong python experience required
- Strong web development with: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CSS, Python, Flask, React (or something similar)
- Strong experience with backend API's
- Capable of managing their own projects/self-starter
- Ability to work with a contracted resource in India (this person is doing the project and using offshore to supplement when needed_
- Experience speaking to the business and understand what the business is asking for
- How interested they are in AI- foundational understand of AI and how to apply it to business
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
- Knowledge of Agile practices
- Familiar with GIT

DAY TO DAY:
Our fast-growing legal client is seeking a Web Developer who is interested in AI and has demonstrated examples of how they’ve used AI in the last few years. Overall, the goal of this person will be to implement practice-facing AI powered solutions on a project-by-project basis. Everything that this team develops, they also have to support, so there are support aspects to the role as well as new development. This team has built nine different AI powered applications within the last year and already rolled out three new AI powered applications this year alone. This person will report to the Director and work alongside one other integration engineer on the team. There is also an offshore resource you can work with to help accomplish goals.
More specifically you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of the firm’s generative AI platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of AI driven solutions across the firm.
- Develop optimized scalable vector databases to support return augmented generation in AI.
- Develop tools that interface with and processes output from cloud APIs.
- Design and implement AI safety controls at the web application and API layer working closely with security.
- Design and build fault-tolerant scalable infrastructure to support long-running large-scale AI tasks reliably despite failure of individual nodes.
- Design and build infrastructure for serving large AI models such as LLMs in our private cloud environment.
