MUST:
- 2-5 years of experience MIN in market research or competitive intelligence
- Super dynamic, have to be curious, have to be a learner, self-starter.
- Experience not being handed a database and has had to pull info from sleuthing sources.
- Strong intelligence gathering with things like: SWOT analyses, and actionable insights by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends and news, regulatory changes, investor reports, etc.
- experience taking the data they pull and then compile it and putting it into a visualization
- Insurance industry experience- could be life insurance or any type of insurance
- Very analytical and highly organized
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and competitive intelligence platforms.
- Passion for learning and market intelligence beyond information gathering
- Experience with CRM systems and market research tools has navigated one before (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zywave, LinkedIn, Zoominfo, Hoovers, etc.).
- Strong experience with data visualization tool (PowerBI, SPSS, etc.)
PLUS:

DAY TO DAY:
Our high energy and fast growing insurance firm is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join their team as a full time employee. This role is preferred to sit local to the Greater Philadelphia area, but could be remote for the right candidate. This person will conduct research and analysis of competitors, geographic markets, and more using a comprehensive variety of software and research tools. This person will provide insights used by marketing, sales, advertising, and other departments to build overall company strategy. The right candidate will be dynamic, fast-paced, and have an eye for research and analysis and will provide critical information to their business. The CIA will work with the leadership team as well as in-market sales professionals to understand market dynamics in great detail. You will research topics like: where are their competitors, where should this company be focused, what are the different market dynamics, and how can we win.
After performing research, this individual will use their findings to make recommendations by evaluating new opportunities and conducting in-depth market, competitive, and partner analyses. This role is responsible for creating detailed profiles, SWOT analyses, and actionable insights by conducting market research, analyzing industry trends and news, regulatory changes, investor reports, and other intelligence gathering.
