Job Overview:Alpine Tools is excited to open its new retail location in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our sales team and oversee day-to-day store operations. As the Retail Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, creating an outstanding customer experience, and building a strong team in a vibrant, growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Develop sales strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback to the team.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and salesmanship.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers through personalized service.
- Prepare packaging and shipping of packages.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching, and handle performance reviews.
- Assist in resolving team member conflicts.
- Create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
- Store Operations:
- Manage all aspects of daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Order product as sales and inventory on hand dictate, discuss when to discontinue items as needed.
- Oversee all cash handling and make daily deposits
- Ensure store visual standards are met and that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and budgetary control to ensure operational efficiency.
- Attend and report sales,labor and profitability to store owners.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and special events.
- Drive community engagement efforts to build brand presence in the downtown area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a retail sales manager or similar role in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in retail software, POS systems, and sales analytics.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bi-lingual, fluent in English and Spanish is required.
