We are looking for an entry level grounds person, no tree or equipment experience required. As a tree worker, you should have great attention to detail, be reliable, able to physically perform the job, and work with a team of 2-4 tree workers. You will be provided all necessary training for the equipment for your role, this will include chainsaws, stump grinders, brush chippers, and assisting bucket truck operators. We want someone who has a record of safe work habits and is environmentally responsible and physically fit. A Trimmer C is responsible for gathering and feeding brush & debris into a woodchipper, scanning areas from trip and fall hazards, and ensuring other workers stay out of the path of travel. This position is also responsible for but not limited to maintaining equipment and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Able to work outdoors in the elements all year.
- Work safely with others.
- Maintain and operate chainsaw and chipper.
- Understand and perform basic tree felling, trimming and bucking.
- Positive attitude and reliable.
- Follow instructions and perform quality work.
- Problem solver and team player.
- Work 40 to 50 hours a week.
