What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Specialist position at ALQIMI?
ALQIMI currently has multiple openings for Communications Specialist Level 3 professionals to support our customer in Springfield, VA.
Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Responsibilities:
- Craft messages and talking points for Human Development Senior leadership.
- Perform event support for in-person and Video Teleconference meetings with multiple endpoints, to include gathering content from SMEs, developing slide deck and arranging for or providing A/V support.
- Develop messaging (email, articles, newsletters) for release to specific audiences or the entire NGA workforce.
- Edit content from SMEs for content, grammar and punctuation.
- Assist in the implementation of the HD Strategic Communications Plan.
- Provide presentation support to Office leadership to include targeted audiences, message intent, developing graphical concepts and designs.
- Update web content using SharePoint and JS Link
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or Communications and 7 years of related experience or 15 years of related experience without the degree.
- At least 12 months demonstrated experience updating web content using SharePoint.
- At least 12 months demonstrated experience using electronic publishing applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Publisher), Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or Adobe Pro.
- At least 12 months demonstrated experience using AP style writing and editing.
- At least 24 months demonstrated experience in communications strategy development.
