Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technician
Location : Providence, RI 02905
Duration : 3 Months with possible extension
Summary
Department : Interventional Radiology
Shift Timings : 07 : 30 AM 5 PM Monday to Friday (4 Days / 10 Hours)
Per Week : 40 Hours
Responsible for assisting providers in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating radiologic equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role will also assist in maintaining accurate records, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to infection control protocols. Hours rotate between 7 : 30am start and 5pm end.
Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements : Experience : 5 Years
Minimum 2 years of IR experience in all phases of care (pre-, intra- and post procedure). Vascular experience preferred.
