Freight Forwarder – Domestic
Salary: Up to $70,000 per year
Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder with a strong background in domestic logistics? Join our client and take on a pivotal role in overseeing a variety of domestic freight operations!
Key Responsibilities:
- OTR (Over-the-Road) Freight Management: Coordinate long-distance domestic shipments, ensuring timely and cost-efficient transport.
- Domestic Air Freight: Manage air freight shipments within the U.S., focusing on speed, safety, and compliance.
- Dispatching & Planning: Schedule and dispatch freight shipments, optimizing routes and resources for efficiency.
- Drayage: Oversee drayage operations, ensuring smooth transfer of cargo between ports, terminals, and warehouses.
- Customer Communication: Provide exceptional service, addressing concerns and offering solutions to meet client needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in domestic freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of OTR, domestic air freight, dispatching, and drayage operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
