Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sample Receiving Coordinator in Middletown, PA. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing samples from outside clients and field personnel.
About the Role:
- You will receive and inspect samples for proper containers, temperatures, preservatives, and other essential requirements.
- You will accurately log samples into our laboratory LIMS system, ensuring seamless data management and integrity.
- You will transport samples to designated storage locations and dispose of expired samples, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- You will perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of our laboratory.
Requirements:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong desire to work in an administrative position within a laboratory setting.
- You possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to accurately interpret and transcribe information.
- You have good typing and data entry skills, with familiarity with chemical symbols and general scientific terminology.
- You can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written, and demonstrate a proven ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- You have experience working in a team environment, handling multiple tasks, and adapting to changing priorities.
