Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to support our inventory control process at the Kelso, WA laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, ordering, receiving, and restocking laboratory supplies while ensuring excellent internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order inventory and reconcile invoices through an Oracle-based platform.
- Create requisitions and purchase orders.
- Safely order and stock hazardous chemicals.
- Maintain a well-organized supply warehouse.
- Safely operate a forklift and manual pallet jack.
- Meet deadlines and avoid inventory depletion.
- Provide exceptional internal customer service to laboratory personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Inventory control and supply ordering experience required.
- Experience creating requisitions and purchase orders required.
- Forklift training and experience required.
- Experience with hazardous chemical inventory control preferred.
- Familiarity with DOT shipping requirements (or currently certified) is preferred.
