We are searching for a Machine Operator. Working in our manufacturing plant, our Machine Operators are vital to the success of our business. Your role will be to ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality our customers expect. You will be responsible for the set-up and troubleshooting through to resolution of the Fabrication Department Roll Forming (Metals) Machines, Punches Units, and Embosser Units. As a dedicated team and AM member, our EOLs are vital to the success of our business and operations. Job Description (Machine Operator)

Responsibilities
- Reads, understands and interprets blueprints ensuring continuity of roll forming machines
- Observes the machine operation to detect defects and machine malfunction(s)
- Responsible for the quality of the profile to the finished product when setting up the line (adjusting, change over, tooling change).
- Performs minor fixes inclusive of oiling machines, replacing dies, replacing tooling
- Skilled using measuring tools such as protractors, micrometers, calipers, rulers etc…
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and comprehend English language
- Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel
- Must be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure
- Be dependable and on-time with attendance
- Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plant
- Work well with others on the team
- Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
- Able to lift-up to 50 lbs. at any given time.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Work in different temperature-controlled environments
