Could you be the full-time onsite Electrical Test Engineer in West Mifflin, PA, US we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of railway systems by developing state-of-the-art test equipment and software. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality assurance, production), create and review diagnostic software, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Create Test Package Sets for electronic modules, both High Power and Low Voltage,
- Test Package Set development includes Software Requirement Specification (SRS), Test Fixture, and Test Software development using National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand,
- Create/review component level diagnostic software,
- Develop Test Software Documentation to IEEE-1012 standard,
- Install equipment, perform qualification testing with the customer, and provide customer training,
- Collaborating with purchasing, quality, and industrialization functions to ensure successful delivery of equipment to customers,
- Opportunity to travel to customer sites located in the US and Internationally

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field,
- Experience or understanding of Test Equipment design or related work,
- Familiarity with cable modeling software, simulation software, and product lifecycle management tools,
- Knowledge of high power and high voltage testing as well as PCB level testing,
- Ability to manage project tasks and adhere to schedules,
- Willingness to travel to support project deployment,
- Team player mindset
